Layout - Charlie McKeown, San Francisco Bay Area Chapter 

Charlie McKeown's layout was created in a 16 x 20 foot room over the garage of his home in Placerville, CA.  This Märklin layout is extensively sceniced, and is computer controlled using Railroad & Co.'s Train Controller software. There are 2 lengthy, six track hidden staging yards which allow multiple trains to appear and disappear from view. The middle peninsula of the layout features a separate trolley line which runs through the town. Charlie's layout was featured on "A year with Märklin" DVD sent out to Märklin Insider members.
